Focus and Scope

The Journal of Business & Economics Research (JBER) welcomes articles that significantly contribute to the knowledge and understanding of all aspects of business and economics research and related fields. Using a wide range of research methods including statistical analysis, analytical work, case studies, field research and historical analysis, articles examine significant research questions from a broad range of perspectives.

 

JBER is a widely cited, completely open access journal that is essential reading for academic researchers and business professionals. Articles may include but are not limited to the fields of accounting, business law, economics, ethics, finance, management, marketing, and related fields.

Peer Review Process

Articles submitted to the Clute Institute for possible journal publication are subjected to a double-blind, peer review process.

 

After acknowledging receipt, articles are initially reviewed by the editor to ensure suitability for review. Articles deemed ready for review are then forwarded to two outside reviewers. Articles deemed not suitable for further review or inappropriate are rejected.

 

The review process is completed within three weeks for expedited reviews and within six weeks for standard reviews. Authors have up to one year to comply with editor and reviewer concerns. Accepted articles are typically published within two to three months.

 

Publication Frequency

The Journal of Business & Economics Research is published monthly. The months of distribution are: January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, and December.

 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, remix, tweak, build upon, print, search, or link the full texts of the articles in this journal provided that appropriate credit is given.

The Clute Institute and its editors are committed to objective and fair double-blind peer-review of submitted manuscripts for journal publication and conference presentation and will evaluate manuscripts for their intellectual content without regard to race, gender, sexual orientation, religious belief, ethnic origin, citizenship, or political philosophy. Authors submitting their manuscripts must attest that it is their original work and has not been plagiarized. Submitting the same manuscript to more than one journal concurrently is unethical and unacceptable. Reviewers must comply with the Clute Institute Code of Ethics in all respects.
